The fitness and wellness industry has seen a quiet but powerful shift in recent years. It is within this space that sisters Aya and Mira Majed launched Sōle in June 2025. Combining their backgrounds as graphic designers with a love for movement, they created a brand that treats every sock as a work of art and every collection as a story. Their philosophy is simple yet profound: each sole is unique, and each soul deserves to be expressed.

Aya and Mira’s journey began with a shared frustration. As designers and Pilates enthusiasts, they noticed that grip socks were overwhelmingly plain and lacked personality. Determined to change this, they set out to create socks that could be both functional and stylish. Their goal was to let people express themselves while moving, whether in Pilates, Lagree, or barre classes.

The brand’s name reflects this dual philosophy. “Sōle” is both a nod to the sole of the foot and the human soul. Each sock is crafted with a unique grip pattern and embroidered detail, making it more than just an accessory. Every collection is designed to spark creativity, individuality, and grounding energy, echoing the mindful practices these socks accompany.

Spoil Your Sole, Spark Your Soul.

The tagline captures the brand’s essence. “Spoil your sole” means caring for your feet with high-quality materials and playful design. “Spark your soul” reflects the emotional connection that comes from wearing something expressive and uplifting, while the practice done in the socks is one that nourishes the spirit.

This philosophy is visible in the brand’s collections, where every design tells a different story. The best-selling style, “Charmed Grip”, features a heart-shaped grip for stability, and a delicately embroidered charmed eye on the sock for protection and flair. Another, “Pilates Princess”, pairs a crown design with regal grip details. From bold and playful to calm and grounding, each piece offers a distinct personality that customers can connect with.

Quality, Creativity, And Community Response.

Unlike mass-produced socks with uniform grips, Sōle designs each grip as a fresh canvas. This creative approach is paired with rigorous testing to ensure performance and safety in every movement. Embroidery is used extensively for its durability and ability to bring the designs to life. The result is a combination of strong grip and stylish execution that customers immediately notice.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Since launching in Lebanon, the brand quickly expanded to the UAE and beyond, with studios selling out of stock within days. Customers consistently highlight the exceptional grip quality and unique designs. From Paris to Kuwait to Ivory Coast and Liberia, their socks are finding their way into Pilates studios worldwide, signalling a growing global interest. Returning customers and studio collaborations confirm that Sōle is resonating not only as a product but as a lifestyle statement.

Looking Ahead With New Stories To Tell.

The sisters continue to build on their vision with new collections. Baladi Drop, released on October 9th 2025, is deeply tied to their Lebanese roots and carries cultural significance for the community. Another festive collection will follow in December, bringing joy and celebration to the season. With every drop, they plan to introduce fresh grip designs and explore new moods through storytelling.

For Aya and Mira, Sōle is more than a sock brand. It is an exploration of creativity, self-expression, and movement. By blending artistry with practicality, they are proving that even the simplest accessory can spark joy and connect deeply to the soul.
